Casa do Moinho (Windmill House) is situated in Amoreira, in the Obidos area.  The house is nestled at the top of the hill, with spectacular views across the valley, our only higher neighbours are the windmills themselves.  The windmills are unused, but provide a beautiful backdrop for a gentle amble around the hillside. 

Amoreira is a small village with a couple of cafés and restaurants and its only 50 minutes from Lisbon Airport, so we are very easily accessible. 

There area many beautiful beaches known for great surfing, 4 golf courses and the Obidos Lagoon all within 15 minutes (see things to do for more detail).

You may have heard of Obidos, it’s a medieval, white-washed town with a Castle – it’s a must see when you are in Portugal.  With Obidos being an 8 minute drive, at Casa do Moinho, you are in easy reach of a wide range of its restaurants and supermarkets.
